We will be back for the 33rd Annual National Criminal Procedure Tournament in Fall 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please see below for how past registrations have operated so you can prepare for Fall 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003b70;\"><strong>Important notes<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-position: outside;\">\n<li><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"line-height: 13px;\">There is NO early registration, only <strong>General<\/strong> and <strong>Final<\/strong> Registration.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Invitations to compete operate on a first come first serve basis: The <strong>first 20 teams<\/strong> to register during <strong>General<\/strong> Registration will be entered into this year\u2019s competition. The <strong>first 10 teams<\/strong> to register during <strong>Final<\/strong> Registration will be entered in this year\u2019s competition.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>USD Appellate Moot Court&nbsp;has the sole discretion to decide whether invitations will be extended during registration and to which schools invitations will be extended. USD Appellate Moot Court also reserves the right not to disclose which teams have been extended invitations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"margin-bottom: -10px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003b70;\"><strong>General Registration<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\">You may register <strong>one (1) team<\/strong> beginning on <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>July 2, 2020 at 9:00am PST<\/strong><\/span> and ending on <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>July 11, 2020 at 11:59pm PST<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-bottom: -10px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003b70;\"><strong>Final Registration<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\">All schools may register <strong>up to&nbsp;two (2) teams<\/strong>&nbsp;during Final Registration beginning on&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>July 18, 2020 at 9:00am PST<\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;and&nbsp;ending&nbsp;on&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>July 25, 2020 at 11:59pm PST<\/strong><\/span>. &nbsp;If your school has already registered a team during General Registration, it may register a second team at this time.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-bottom: -10px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003b70;\"><strong>Registration Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\">Complete the Google Form below. Be sure to upload the affidavit provided on the website in the Google Form!<\/p>\n<p><strong>After you have been invited to participate, the competition fee will be due beginning on <\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>August 1 through August 31, 2020<\/strong><\/span>. Pay your registration fee by either (1) Electronic payment via Eventbrite or (2) mailing a check made payable to: \u201cUniversity of San Diego &#8211; Moot Court\u201d Checks should be mailed to the following address:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Appellate Moot Court Board<\/em><br \/>\n<em>University of San Diego School of Law<\/em><br \/>\n<em>5998 Alcala Park<\/em><br \/>\n<em>San Diego, CA 92110<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If your school should choose to pay via&nbsp;electronic payment, you will receive an emailed link and a password to access the USD National Criminal Procedure Tournament Eventbrite page in order to pay the registration fee electronically on August 1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The registration fee is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">$300<\/span> for one team or <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">$600<\/span>&nbsp;for two teams.<\/strong> Your fee is non-refundable after your entry fee is made via Eventbrite or by&nbsp;check and mailed to the USD Moot Court Office.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about this year\u2019s National Criminal Procedure Tournament, please contact our Moot Court Office at:&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0074c8;\"><a style=\"color: #0074c8; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"mailto:usdmootcourttournaments@gmail.com\">usdmootcourttournamen<wbr>ts@gmail.com<\/a><\/span>. <strong>More information about the logistics of the tournament will be forthcoming.
